Rebecca Youdell

The environment is a stimulating force in my mind. As a choreographer the nature of creating through mixed media emphasises the ephemeral ideas of which I feel innately a part of. The unlikely combination of exploring Body Weather(Butoh) and Ballet is intriguing to me as it allows for a fusion of form and essence. Internal and external images transpose through performing arts and visual arts readily. Listening to Skin explores metaphoric and semiotic understanding and translates them through interdisciplinary and collaborative practice.
