The 2022 CIAF "Embrace" Projection Art program showcased Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art as large-scale, vibrant projections across the Cairns cityscape, running nightly between 7:30 pm and 8:50 pm. This initiative transformed urban spaces into canvases of light and colour, highlighting Indigenous art and culture during the 2022 Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (6–10 July). Including works by Agnes Wooton, Cathy Snow, Emily Murray, Erica Muriata, Esmae Bowen, Kyla Hedane, Lila Creek and Arone Meeks.    

The program aligned with the 2022 CIAF theme "Masters of Country", celebrating the knowledge, resourcefulness, and connection to Country of Queensland's First Peoples.
